Facilities An ancient Burgher house in the historical centre of Prague; the first written records of this house date back to the 15th century. The well preserved cellar rooms; presently housing a restaurant; are from the Gothic period. The Renaissance can be appreciated in the original painted beam ceilings of both the public premises and the guest rooms; whilst the entrance portal reminds of the Baroque reconstruction of the house. The façade is of great interest also due to its relation to Peter Brandl; a famous 17th century altar painter who was born and lived in the house. All further adaptations implied new architectural elements; with Classicism also playing an important feature.
