The hotel is built on the 'ex Hacienda de Beneficio de Metal de San Francisco Javier' which began its construction in the 17th century. Thanks to the creativity of the Mexican restaurateurs, the hotel is listed as a protected historical building by the INAH and Cultural Heritage.
